1.Installthe water pump assembly
·Set O-ring in water pump body groove.
Install water pump assembly,and tighten to
specified torque.
Tightening torque: 20 N·m (2.0 kg-m/14 Ib-ft)
2.Install the AC generator drive belt.
·Install the AC generator drive belt.
·Depress theACgenerator_drive belt mid-
portion with a 98N(10 kg/22Ib)force.
·Tighten the fixing bolt to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Adjust plate lock bolt:
19 N·m(1.9 kg-m/14 Ib·ft)
Generator fixing bolt:
40 Nm(4.1 kg-m/30 Ib-ft)

3.Install the support rubber.
·Install the support rubber while raising the
engine.
·Tighten the fixingnuts to the specified torque.

82Nm(8.4 kg-m/61 Ib-ft)
Crossmemberside:40 N·m(4.1 kg-m/30Ib-ft)
4.Install the cooling fan assembly.
·Mount fan pulley and cooling fan assembly on
the water pump and tighten to the specifed
torque.
Tightening torque: 8Nm(0.8 kg-m/69 Ib-in)
5.Install the fan shroud.
·Install the fan shroud and reservoir tank hose
and bypass hose.
6.Install the floor support cover.(Non-ilt cab model
only)
7.Install the sub engine cover.(Non-tilt cab model
only)
8.Install the parking brake lever assembly.(Non-tilt
cab model only)
Refer to “BRAKES”in Section 5C.
9.Install the changelever assembly.(Non-tilt cab
model only)
Refer to “Manual Transmission”in Section 7B.
10.Install the driver seat.(Non-tilt cab model only)
Refer to “FRAME AND CAB”Section 2.
11.Install the engine cover.(Non-tilt cab model only)
12.Refilthe engine coolant.
13.Connect the battery cable negative terminal.
